The stylish hotel combines modern comforts and a trendy lifestyle with the unique art deco interior of the 1930s, which is highlighted by selected vintage details. Hotel Lilla Roberts is located in the middle of trendy design districts in historic Kaartinkaupunki, just a stone’s throw away from the busy streets of the city center.
The hotel has multifunctional F&B outlets such as breakfast, à la carte, meetings, private events, room service and cocktail bar.

We are now looking for an ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER for the F&B operations of our hotel
Your heart beats for leading customer service. You also recognise the importance of the brand as well as the commercial actions. It’s easy for you to engage yourself into our brand events, whether it’s a Halloween party, a fashion party or a Christmas-time charity event. The person we are looking for has high quality standards, but also always has a spark in their eye!
We are looking for a manager whose operational area of responsibility includes breakfast, the meetings & events department, room service and the restaurant Krog Roba, which serves lunch and weekend brunches in addition to a la carte.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager’s main tasks is to ensure that employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction side by side support the hotel’s brand and goals in a constantly evolving way. As a person, you are inspiring and you have a desire to support people to develop in their work. A guiding and coaching approach to the role is essential.
Your hands can hold many threads, and you know how to put things into action from strategies to concrete. In these tasks you have strong support from the F&B Manager.

What we expect from you:

  • Ability and willingness to lead people with a coaching approach and succeed together with the team
  • Understanding of effective business management and its cornerstones
  • Interest in taking operations to new levels and participating in development working groups
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to withstand pressure in changing situations
  • The skill of leading yourself
  • Previous experience as a restaurant supervisor
  • Previous experience of restaurant systems, such as cash registers, table reservations, inventory management and rota planning (e.g.Restolution, ResDiary, Maraplan Pro) Experience with the above is considered an advantage, but managing similar systems is also sufficient.
  • Excellent language skills in Finnish and English are essential. We also require that you have a hygiene and alcohol passport.
