This is an excellent opportunity to join our management team working alongside our Restaurant Manager in our award winning Anderida Restaurant, you will have responsibility for overseeing the food and beverage operation, ensuring that the restaurant consistently operates to a 2 AA Rosette standard and strives to achieve more, while ensuring our guests enjoy the very best memorable dining experience.
You will motivate and lead a dedicated team to ensure that high standards are consistently maintained and procedures followed which play an important role in the achievement of sales within the Restaurant.

ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE:

  • Be a strong leader and exemplary role model, with a hands-on approach.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues and guests in a friendly professional manner are essential.
  • Have and be able to demonstrate experience of delivering high standards of service. This could have been as a Chef de Rang, Supervisor or Head Waiter in a 4 or 5 star restaurant.
  • Have a genuine passion for food, wine and people
  • Have a desire to learn and improve upon current skills and be confident to put forward ideas and recommendations that may enhance the restaurant experience to Senior Managers

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To deputise for the Restaurant Manager in his/her absence.
  • To provide the highest quality of guest service in the Restaurant with the aim at all times to live up to our 4 Star status.
  • To oversee all Restaurant operations ensuring the highest standards and smooth, efficient organisation of service and outstanding product knowledge.
  • To be an exceptional and professional ambassador for the hotel and the wider Elite group in all your business relationships, at all times setting the highest standards of leadership, integrity and commitment.
  • Have high professional standards in appearance and uniform and set and maintain those standards for the restaurant team.
  • Comply with Restaurant’s opening and closing procedures.
  • Have knowledge of and comply with liquor licensing laws.
