Blue Water Cafe is a high volume fine dining restaurant, serving around 320 guests nightly.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will inspire, develop, oversee, and manage the front-of-house team, while working closely with the leadership team to support the creation and delivery of a unique and elevated guest experience that is in harmony with the kitchen’s food program.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a premium food and beverage operation
- Experience training and managing a large and varied staff
- Strong business acumen with a proven ability to provide insightful industry leading, best-in-class outcomes to perpetuate growth in a premium service environment
- Highly committed to a premium level of quality and creating the ultimate guest experience
- Skilled at developing and creating food and beverage experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze current business problems and implement recommended solutions
- Superior conflict resolution skills, with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, including the ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Serve as an educator, as well as an inspirational, committed, and responsible leader to the restaurant’s front-of-house team
- Assist with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Maintain exceptional standards of professionalism and hospitality
- Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver a memorable food and beverage experience
- Display a genuine passion to facilitate and exceed guest service expectations
- Ensure the delivery of superior customer service through effective staff training and education
- Actively participate in the mentorship and support of all team members
- Develop a strong and positive rapport with both staff and guests alike
- Drive positive results that align with business goals
- Under the direction of the Restaurant Director, initiate and execute special projects as required
