Nissan of Irving is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and professional Assistant Sales Manager to help grow our sales force to keep up with increasing demand. The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing, motivating sales staff, and promoting and encouraging strategies to sell vehicles. This individual must be highly motivated to advance to upper-level management.

Work functions include but not limited to:

  • Hires, coaches, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all sales representatives. The Assistant Manager demonstrates leadership by creating a clear vision and establishing annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits.
  • Ensures that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing. The Assistant Manager manages business through a high level of involvement in day-to-day operations by following up on daily task through CRM tool.
  • Works directly with customers to establish a strong network of clientele and prospects. The Assistant Manager devises strategies and promotions to encourage lead sales growth.
  • Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine the customer’s needs, volume, and potential, and assists with the development of sales campaigns to accommodate the objectives of the dealership. The Assistant Manager investigates business metrics to address shortfalls and implement action plans to enhance performance.
  • Maintains controllable expenses for the New and Used Vehicle departments.

Employee Prerequisites:

  • Advanced automotive sales management knowledge.
  • Must have a minimum of two years of experience. Pay is based on expertise.
  • Excellent of verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of automotive software is a bonus.
  • Maintains well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
