MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric, Tertiary BCom qualification
- 5 – 8 years sales experience in the Industrial Environment
- Experience with Tender Business
- Cleat understanding of stock management
- Strong business acumen
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Logistics, Warehousing, General Industrial Knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Valid Drivers License and own transport
Responsibilities:
- Develop a pipeline to generate new business (Pipeline management & conversion)
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Conduct regular client visits
- Increase visibility of company’s brands in the industrial channel
- Generate annual budgets per product and by customer annually
- Prepare Proposals and RFP documents
- Prepare regular sales reports of progress and forecasts for stakeholders
- Debtor management
- Analyse financial statements will be crucial in making informed decisions
- Oversee profit and loss reports
- Manage the allocated Key Account customers as per the agreed KPIs
- Actively generate new business from Key Account customers
- Build a pipeline of industrial customers
- Actively promote the sale of company products and generate increased sales from potential new customers
- Provide after sales service
- Service customers/potential customers via regular contact and personal visits
- Address and resolve customer complaints/ product alert problems timeously
