The ideal candidate will bring direct experience in scheduling for both business and domestic customers. You have a high level of proficiency in logistics scheduling software and excel at multitasking, adapting to changing priorities, and thriving in dynamic settings. Your strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure are complemented by your logical thinking and practical approach to resolving issues. You possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer management skills and have a passion for logistics and transport. A professional qualification in supply chain or logistics, such as CPC management, would also be preferred.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Flogas Ireland has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Bulk Scheduler working as part of our Bulk Logistics Team on a permanent full-time basis. This is a critical role for the distribution department. The individual must be able to demonstrate a passion for logistics, be able to operate in a fast paced and demanding environment and have demonstrable proven track record. This position will be based in our Flogas terminal in Drogheda, Co. Louth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting Scheduler to compile efficient rosters for bulk deliveries
- Work with other departments to ensure customer order information is accurate
- Day to Day point of contact for Drivers and other departments within the business
- Re-scheduling late run changes.
- Answering incoming call requests from customers, drivers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure drivers are fully informed of information relevant to their calls.
- Data entry onto relevant company and logistics IT systems in a timely manner.
- Proactively managing relationships with drivers and customers.
- Additional duties as required.
