As an Assistant Service Manager at our dealership, you’ll oversee the service department’s operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality maintenance and repairs for our customers’ vehicles. Your responsibilities include managing service schedules, optimizing workflow, and supervising technicians to deliver exceptional service within established timelines. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for maintaining inventory, overseeing equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, all while fostering a customer-centric environment focused on satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily service department operations, managing workflow and ensuring efficient vehicle maintenance and repair services.
- Coordinate service schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet customer needs and dealership objectives.
- Supervise and mentor service advisors and technicians, fostering a cohesive and high-performance team.
- Maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall dealership performance.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate service department performance, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
