We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Service Manager to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our BMW dealership.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Assistant Service Manager at our BMW location, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation consistent with the collective agreement. You will support the Service Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing the service team, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the high standards expected by our BMW customers, and maintaining the high standards of service that O’Regan’s is known for.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated leadership or management experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • A degree in management or business is considered an asset.
  • Automotive knowledge or a genuine interest in the automotive industry is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a focus on quality and luxury.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve sales and service goals.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the BMW service department.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of service advisors, technicians, and other service staff.
  • Guarantee that every customer interaction is handled with the utmost professionalism, ensuring a service experience that is as refined as the vehicles we maintain.
  • Monitor service department performance, including productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of parts for service jobs.
  • Take on Service Advisor responsibilities, including greeting customers, recommending necessary services, and managing the opening and closing of repair orders.
  • Support the Service Manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
  • Assist in scheduling and dispatching work to technicians based on skill and workload.
  • Maintain accurate records of service transactions, customer interactions, and inventory.
  • Participate in training and developing service department staff.
  • Uphold O’Regan’s commitment to delivering exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction.
