What does a Assistant Shift Security Supervisor in Calgary do?

  • Review all submitted team incident reports for quality assurance.
  • Liaise with client, contractors, tenants, emergency services.
  • Review and export of CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.
  • Providing excellent customer service to various tenants.
  • Provide first aid and basic life safety in an emergency situation.
  • Must be able to cover a guards shift on a as needed basis.
  • Coordinating day to day operations to the shift supervisor

Qualifications we require for an Assistant Shift Security Supervisor in Calgary

  • 1-3 years experience in security supervisor experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid Alberta Security license
  • Must be able to work 4/4 12 hour rotational shift 2 days/2 nights
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, and exercise good judgment and discretion.
  • Demonstrated comprehension of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest
  • Must have strong customer service skills, mature attitude and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Leadership and mentorship skills
  • Able to work in a team environment or independently as required
