We are seeking an Assistant Site Superintendent to support one of our a multi-tower construction projects in Kelowna, BC. The Assistant Site Superintendent will support the Superintendents with all aspects of worksite management for the structure/formwork portion of the project. This includes working with the Superintendent to determine staffing/resource needs, material quantities, and ensure the team has the right tools needed to perform the structural work. The Structural Assistant Site Superintendent is a champion of safety and works closely with the CSO to ensure all activities are performed in a safe manner.
The ideal candidate has a mix of experience working on residential and high-rise projects and shares our commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Superintendent with the project schedules, conduct inspections, and resources to meet expectations and timelines of the project scope
  • Maintain daily field reports, safety inspections, schedule updates and other documentation as needed
  • Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, projects and safety requirements are being followed
  • Report regularly on job progress, plans, and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules
  • Advise the Superintendent of potential problems including work interferences and scheduling difficulties and assist in resolving the problems
  • Ensure employees, subcontractors, and contractors are following the company’s safety policies
  • Additional duties as directed by the Site Superintendent
