EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Sports Management, Event Planning, or a related field;
- Minimum two (2) years of related work experience or a combined equivalent of education and work experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral;
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail;
- Creative, results-oriented, able to deliver on deadlines and deliverables
- Experience with Google’s G Suite programs (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Slides, Forms and Calendar, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience working in a not-for-profit, events, or multi-sport Games environment
- Ability to liaise and interact with multiple partners, locally, provincially and nationally.

Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Assisting the Venue Teams with planning and logistical needs for each venue;
- Working with the Sport teams to support competition needs, including scheduling, results, officials, equipment management, and medal ceremonies;
- Assisting the development of field-of-play procedures, updating sport manuals, and participating in technical conferences;
- Assisting in the procurement process of sport equipment for competition and training venues, working closely with supplies to meet Games guidelines;
- Acting as a contact for various venues and sports, facilitating smooth communication and coordination across the Games footprint;
- Being a fully engaged team member with a goal of positive and healthy relationships in the workplace
- Executing all responsibilities in a manner which is consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Values of the St. John’s 2025 Canada Games, and;
- Fulfilling all other duties as reasonably required.
