Description:
ASSISTANT STOCK CONTROLLER (FULL TIME, PERMANENT)
Applications are invited for the role of Assistant Stock Controller on a permanent full-time basis. Based in Value Centre Cork, the general purpose of this role is to support the smooth operation of the Buying function within Value Centre, using the established systems and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver optimum product availability through driving continuous improvements in supplier service level.
- Planning and ordering all stocks with suppliers.
- Manage dated stock and slow selling lines efficiently.
- Ensure the smooth running of promotions by ensuring all stock is pre ordered and available for all promotional activity.
- Monitor and manage promotional bonuses on offer lines.
- Control of FIFO and stock turnover and stock days.
- Other administration duties as requested.
