Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Repair Shop in Soho, London. It’s a full-time position with a start date on the 16th of December.
As Assistant Store Manager at Nudie Jeans, you are supporting the Store Manager in leading the store in all aspects, from sales to profit and the brand-building activities of the repair shop.
You practice great team leadership, maintain VM standards, perform administrative tasks as well as work closely with the Omni-Channel Coordinator regarding inventory control.
We are looking for a natural salesperson who is highly organized, time-efficient, and values customer service. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ retail experience and preferably stock management experience as well. The candidate must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn POS and Business Software Systems.

• Strong focus on sales, motivating the team to increase sales results, ensuring standards for quality and customer service are met by leading by example on the shop floor.
• Analyze and report sales figures to the Store Manager and the team on a weekly basis.
• Stock control: reorders, returns of products to warehouse, inventory, spot checks, managing size range, and replenishment in store.
• Leading the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Leading, motivating, and developing the team to optimize store performance, in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Attending and contributing to monthly staff meetings with sales figures.
• Managing the ERP/POS system.
• Repair and hemming service.

Our Nudie Jeans Repair Shop is located in the heart of Soho, on the corner of Berwick Street & D’Arblay Street, amongst the hustle and bustle of a variety of restaurants, pubs/bars and record stores. Opened in the summer of 2013, this was the first store with the ‘Repair Shop’ concept which has since been rolled out to all our stores globally. The SOHO team has a range of different interests, but all share the same love for Denim.
