Description:
JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Fluency in conversational English, positive attitude, motivated.
Well groomed, follows proper hygienic practices.
Position of Storekeeper or similar in Commercial Food establishments, Hospitality Industry, Retail chains. Experience in Hotels, cruise vessels is preferred.
Applicant should have knowledge of Food, Beverage & Hotel Supply products.
Should possess Store / Warehousing experience related to Hospitality Industry.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs and be physically strong.
Computer knowledge is advantageous

Responsibilities:
To understand & follow company specifications. Receive, pack, count, issue & deliver good received. Report any discrepancies to Storeroom Management in timely manner.
To assist in physical loading of all Food, Beverage & Supply items and ensure that all items are stored & stacked as per USPH requirements.
To maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensure that all areas of responsibility are kept in clean and sanitized condition.
Maintain strict adherence to protocols for preventing cross-contamination between different types of food items. Ensure First in First Out (FIFO) system is followed and report spoilages etc.
To ensure that Cold rooms and freezers are maintained at the recommended temperatures & any inconstancies are reported promptly to Storeroom Manager.
To ensure that Stock on Hand is accounted for and no unauthorized personnel enter the storeroom by keeping storerooms locked when not in use.
Ensure proper documentation process as per company guideline is followed while issuing the goods.
Liaise with Storeroom Manager on a daily basis in regard to slow moving items, inventory issues etc.
Be willing to undergo training in the safe and efficient operation of pallet jacks to support the loading and unloading of supplies.
Ensure company specified uniform including safety gear is used & company provided freezer jackets are used while entering Freezer Rooms.
Maintain awareness of safety procedures and emergency protocols relevant to onboard operations. Participate in safety drills and training sessions as required by the ship’s management.
Assist the Storeroom Management in all areas within the storeroom as required.
