Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
As a Learning and Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering a range of learning and assessment programs across the Division. Your work will directly contribute to achieving performance planning objectives and developing industry-specific occupational and behavioural capabilities required of staff.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, develop, and deliver operationally focused learning and development programs across various settings, including classroom, workplace, and online environments.
- Manage, support, and assess staff learning using diverse support tools and assessment methods, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate and implement agreed-upon learning strategies, policies, plans, and initiatives to enhance staff capabilities and address skill gaps.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of learning programs, including validation activities. Prepare correspondence, briefings, and reports on findings, emerging issues, risks, and solutions.
- Collaborate with Managers and staff to identify training needs, capability gaps, and appropriate learning strategies to support continuous development.
- Ensure compliance with national standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO) and other regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of training delivery.
