Description:

SUMMARY: To provide technical and administrative assistance to the General Superintendent. The Lead Supervisor will coordinate Company teams and subcontractors in their duties on both maintenance and construction projects. This is a hands-on position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by a manager or supervisor as needed.

  • Assist the General Superintendent in the full upkeep of the preventative maintenance, including the keeping of daily work logs.
  • Assist the General Superintendent in the procurement of supplies and the issuance of purchase orders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all subcontractors and ensure that invoicing and product orders are timely.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventories of maintenance and consumable supplies.
  • Assist in the hiring and training process in an effort to continuously develop both new and existing colleagues.
  • Review work orders and assign/delegate tasks as appropriate.
  • Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems in Company Hotels and Restaurants.
  • HVAC preventative maintenance.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment; installs new or repaired parts.
  • Responds to maintenance requests.
  • Keep a daily maintenance log of all work performed at Company assets and projects.
  • Comply with all OSHA standards in keeping with a safe work space/site.
  • Assist the General Superintendent with coaching and counseling of team members.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
