Description:
SUMMARY: To provide technical and administrative assistance to the General Superintendent. The Lead Supervisor will coordinate Company teams and subcontractors in their duties on both maintenance and construction projects. This is a hands-on position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by a manager or supervisor as needed.
- Assist the General Superintendent in the full upkeep of the preventative maintenance, including the keeping of daily work logs.
- Assist the General Superintendent in the procurement of supplies and the issuance of purchase orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with all subcontractors and ensure that invoicing and product orders are timely.
- Maintain up-to-date inventories of maintenance and consumable supplies.
- Assist in the hiring and training process in an effort to continuously develop both new and existing colleagues.
- Review work orders and assign/delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems in Company Hotels and Restaurants.
- HVAC preventative maintenance.
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment; installs new or repaired parts.
- Responds to maintenance requests.
- Keep a daily maintenance log of all work performed at Company assets and projects.
- Comply with all OSHA standards in keeping with a safe work space/site.
- Assist the General Superintendent with coaching and counseling of team members.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
