Assistant Technical Officer - Haematology and Blood Transfusion

The Haematology and Blood Transfusion laboratory at Peterborough City Hospital is part of the recently formed North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. Peterborough, the green city of the East of England, offers a thriving city with a rich history and very affordable living. Peterborough also boasts excellent transport links. There are regular trains to London and have easy access to Cambridge, and the rest of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.
You will also need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible and have good attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also be computer literate and familiar with working to ISO15189 standards. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in a rota which provides extended hours support for the laboratory service.
