We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Technical Officer to join our small, dedicated Mattress Decontamination Team. In this vital role, you will contribute to the high-quality service of transporting, cleaning, and re-processing pressure relieving and dynamic mattresses, ensuring they are available for wards and departments across the Trust in a timely manner. You will also handle other essential equipment for patient use.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team where your role will make a direct impact on patient care. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, providing vital support to medical staff and patients across the Trust.

Provide a high-quality service for the transporting, cleaning, and re-processing of pressure relieving and dynamic mattresses across various wards and departments within the Trust.
Re-process used equipment, ensuring it is sterilised, packaged and ready for timely delivery to the correct location.
Ensure the safe, efficient and effective reprocessing and sterilisation of instrument procedure packs and equipment for use across the Trust’s wards, departments, theatres and partner organisations.
Deliver equipment in the correct manner to the right place at the right time, maintaining high standards of quality control.
