We are recruiting for an Assistant Valuer to assist in providing our professional estate management service of all accommodation, land and property issues on our behalf of the Council.
The role is varied from preparing estimates to keeping up to date with current and upcoming legislation. You will be managing and making best use of our assets, maintaining electronic records and providing technical support to our Estates Team. You’ll need effective communication and organisational skills and be good at negotiation.
We need you to have experience of property matters, have an understanding of the relevant legislation and have experience of Microsoft Office packages.

SKILLS

Essential:

  • Effective communication skills and negotiating skills.

KNOWLEDGE

  • An understanding of relevant legislation and statutory obligations.

  • Knowledge and experience of general property matters.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Contributing successfully to effective team working.
  • Degree and / or Associate Membership of RICS or relevant qualification.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
