Description:

  • Work with a young and vibrant team of dedicated hospitality professionals focused on providing an exceptional High Tea experience for our clients

Your responsibilities will include assisting the Venue Manager with:

  • Staff Rostering
  • Completing weekly running sheets for the Front of House team
  • Managing clients’ High Tea events (mainly Saturdays & Sundays)
  • Responding to email enquiries and engaging in some function planning and preparation.
  • Strong focus on on the job training and skills updates for current and new staff
  • Front of house ordering and stock take
  • Meeting with potential clients at the Tea House and showing them through function rooms and package options
  • Liaising with other departments (kitchen and our administration team) to facilitate booking enquiries
  • Involvement in the recruitment of all new Front of House team members

The ideal candidate for the role will be passionate about providing outstanding customer service with an ability to multitask and manage high volumes of work. You must have:

  • a can-do attitude, be super proactive, driven and self-motivated
  • have excellent organisation skills
  • motivated individual with a strong presence and exceptional leadership skills to manage a team
  • have clear and concise communication skills for a fast paced environment
  • be naturally warm and welcoming, whilst having the ability to be firm in company policy and with team members
  • must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as part of a part-time roster
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Passion for exceptional customer servic
