Assistant Visual Merchandising Manager | 12 Month FTC | Pyrmont
We have a very exciting and super rare opportunity in our awesome VM team for a Assistant Visual Merchandising Manager on a 12m contract. Based in our brand new offices in the beautiful Pyrmont, this is a maternity leave contract.
As the Assistant VM Manager, you will help drive a consistent and engaging experience in visual merchandising across our 200 + Bras n Things stores across Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, while maximizing sales, comp store growth and KPI optimization, and ensuring this is achieved within budget and team costs.
You are responsible for managing and maintaining the visual merchandising strategies, ensuring these are delivered to a high and consistent standard across all markets. You will assist in coaching, developing and supporting your team to drive and deliver these initiatives across the network.
Working collaboratively with key stakeholders in areas such as store development, marketing, store operations, planning and buying will be key to delivering a strong customer experience. You will also support new store rollouts, refurbs, and store closures, and support with the development and implementation of new VM initiatives.
What experience/skills do I have?
Proven and demonstrated strength in Visual Merchandising ideally in a multi-site, multi-category retail environment
Proven experience in creating VM standards documents
Experience working with a high volume apparel retailer with key capacity planning skills
Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders
Experience working with external supplier
Experience in people management preferable
Confidence in setting and managing budgets
Ability to multi task
Strong communication and organisational skills
Computer literate, Creative suites preferable
