ASSISTANT YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER

Job description
Part Time / 9 Hours Per Week / Permanent
Working directly with groups of young people aged 13 to 19 years, contributing to and delivering a planned programme of non-formal learning and social education youth work opportunities. Acting as a role model and mentor to other staff volunteers and young people delivering Youth Work in line with the Gold Standard Youth Work framework. Contributing to the written evidence of success using the evidence based framework for positive outcomes, data collection and recordings. By assisting, in the completion of Sessional recordings and planning. Such as, recording membership and attendance.
Based at a Youth Centre. You’ll be required to participate in various meetings such as team meetings, You’ll also be required to attend mandatory training internal and external.
You’ll be able to work flexible hours in particular evenings and school holidays as well as occasional weekends. This is working three evening per week from 6 to 9pm.
