Description:
TGI Friday’s Oslo City (at Jernbanetorget) is looking for a driven and dedicated Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be a key player in the daily operations of one of the busiest and most exciting locations in the city, ensuring we deliver exceptional guest experiences, outstanding food, and a fun and energetic atmosphere.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the restaurant industry, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on guest service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to details and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Basic understanding of financial management, including cost control, budgeting, and reporting.
- Experience with POS systems and staff scheduling software is a plus.
- Passion for food, beverages, and hospitality, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Completion of the Kunnskapsprøven in Alcohol Law is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required, and Norwegian is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Lead, inspire, and support a large team of staff to provide excellent service and maintain a positive working environment.
- Handle staff scheduling, recruitment, and training to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock organization, ensuring optimal levels and minimizing waste.
- Help maintain and TGI Friday’s brand standards, service quality, and operational procedures.
- Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed.
- Act as a point of contact for guests, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, labor costs, and profitability, and report to General Manager.
