We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Data & Analytics Intern to join our team for a 2-year fixed-contract internship program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Data & Analytics.
This role is ideally based in IDC’s Mexico offices with a hybrid work schedule. We will also consider qualified candidates in approved remote locations.

Responsibilities:

During the internship program you will learn:

  • Market Insights:

Conduct quarterly and monthly studies on the ICT market.
Monitor deadlines and research stages meticulously.
Collect data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.
Collaborate with suppliers for data collection interviews.

Document and organize data efficiently.

  • Tech Exploration:

Investigate the impact of emerging technologies (e.g., AR/VR) on the market.
Prepare insightful reports on technology trends.

Build and nurture a network of industry contacts.

  • Stay Informed:

Keep track of key drivers and industry news.
Research topics affecting the market (new players, regulations, global environment).
Qualifications:

You should have:

  • Academic Background:

Currently enrolled in the last 4 semesters of a Bachelor’s program in Economics, Math, Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or Communications. Only enrolled students are accepted.

  • Communication Skills:

Strong written, oral, and presentation abilities.

Comfortable expressing ideas clearly and effectively.

  • Professional Attributes:

High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

Ability to handle pressure and take responsibility.

  • Language Proficiency:

Advanced in English is a plus.

  • Research Skills:

Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

  • Software Competence:

Familiarity with software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
Curiosity and Innovation:
A curious mindset and willingness to explore new ideas.
Passion for staying updated on information technology trends.
