Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE:

The Associate Director of Human Resources (ADHR) is a key leadership role responsible for managing the human resources function at the Round Lake plant. This individual will lead a team of HR professionals in providing strategic HR support to the plant’s management and employees. The ADHR will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as driving initiatives to improve employee engagement, performance, and development.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Lead and manage the HR team to deliver high-quality HR services to the Round Lake plant, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training and development.
  • Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives and promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to employment law, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR to develop and implement HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, performance, and development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to plant leader, SLT and managers on HR-related issues, such as performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization to build trust and foster a culture of open communication.
  • Lead the HR team in analyzing HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations for action.
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR on HR projects and initiatives, such as talent management, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Stay current on HR trends and best practices, and share insights with the HR team and plant leadership to drive continuous improvement.
