JOB DESCRIPTION
- Associate Account Managers develop new accounts, maintain and/or expand existing accounts within an established geographic region. Associate Account Managers generate demand primarily via face-to-face meetings, calls and outbound emails. The role will build and maintain strong relationships and drive adoption of Ritchie Bros. selling solutions and platforms across all customers. Associate Account Managers may be assigned a lower volume sales quota than Account Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year experience in outside sales or inside sales account experience
- Knowledge and experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Excellent communication and presentation skills Highly motivated & action oriented
- Keen customer focus, ability to develop newly assigned accounts while enhancing customer relationships with existing accounts
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling the company’s products and/or services to clients and maintaining relationships with existing accounts via face-to -face meetings, calls and outbound emails.
- Meets and exceeds quarterly and annual sales targets driving revenue growth with excellent customer communication and service
- Demonstrate competent sales abilities through successful presentation of products and of new and existing portfolio items
- Partner with BDM to maintain relationships with new customers and sustain ongoing business
- Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and trade events to maintain a high level of product and supplier knowledge. ?
- Associate Account Managers sales quotas may be based on dollar volume or importance of account
- Utilize Salesforce to document and drive the sales process with customers
- Account Assignment may be based on total dollar volume for the region
- Perform other duties as assigne
- Expected base salary for the role is $40,000.00/year with the opportunity to potentially double with variable incentives.
