As a critical member of the Financial Controllers team, this position plays a key role in supporting the Senior Accountant and Financial Controller to prepare and maintain financial records that entails the efficient delivery and accuracy of accounting data and adherence to financial regulations and standards; whilst providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. The role will be required to ensure that adequate systems and procedures are in place to enable the provision of information and to support cross sharing of information across the business.
We are open to this role being full-time or part time. Contract ends April 2025

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Journal postings, general accrual maintenance and completion of GL reconciliations at month end
• Administration of project records – from project creation to completion, budget releases, cost allocations/reallocations and maintenance of project variations
• Maintenance and creation of GL accounts and cost/profit centres
• Administer cost recoveries at mid-month and end of month
• Timesheet data maintenance
• Collation of data for BAS preparation
• Collation of data for payroll tax return
• Maintaining and monitoring the Goods Receipting process
• Assist with ABS reporting
• Assist with audit requests
• Maintenance of process documentation
• Other ad hoc tasks as requested including but not limited to AP or AR related tasks
