We are seeking a seasoned Senior Associate Accounting Manager for a 1-year fixed-term contract starting November 2024, based in our London office. This hybrid role involves two days per week in the office.
Some of the main responsibilities of this role will be:
- Financial Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive management reports with insightful commentary.
- Monthly Accounts: Prepare group management accounts, balance sheets, P&L statements, and equity analysis.
- Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Post manual journal entries and conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaboration: Work with offshore teams and ensure accurate financial data management.
- Tax & VAT: Prepare Corporation Tax estimates and compile group VAT returns.
- Lease & Asset Management: Manage global lease accounting and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
- Ad Hoc Projects & Payroll Support: Contribute to various financial projects and assist with monthly payroll.
- Compliance & Audit: Assist with Annual Accounts, statutory audits, and ensure internal control compliance.
We are looking for someone who:
- ACCA Qualified: Essential.
- Experience: 5+ years in a senior accounting role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and financial management.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with internal controls and SOX.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to work with various stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Proven leadership skills.
- Taxation: Expertise in Tax and VAT returns.
- Accounting Standards: Knowledge of UK & US GAAP.
