Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for Associate Aircraft Mechanics to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience Depot Level/Heavy General maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience working various aircraft exterior and interior systems such as hydraulics, flight controls, monuments, landing gears, fuel systems, and engines
  • 3+ years of experience in working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
  • Experience in accessing aircraft dataMust be willing to work variable shifts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience performing aircraft engine runs, and engine borescope inspections
  • Experience operating an aircraft tug/tow vehicle, forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment
  • Experience with REDARS and/or Gold-ESP

Responsibilities:

  • Repair, modify and maintain highly complex aircraft structures, structural components and engines
  • Repair and maintain aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components
  • Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunction
  • Apply technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation
    This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret clearance Post Start is required.
