The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst – Dietary (CBORD).
As part of a team of more experienced staff, the Associate Application Analyst – Dietary provides technical and implementation support to UHS Dietary applications, which includes but is not limited to CBORD Net Menu and Rood Service Choice. Assists in testing, training, go-live, and support activities across the UHS Facilities. Monitors the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues assigned by the UHS Customer Support Center. Works with the Information Services Applications team to evaluate the design and determine modifications to existing applications that will effectively accomplish desired objectives. Provides technical support to UHS entities as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or Nutrition and Dietetics. No work experience required, up to one year of experience as a Dietician or Dietetic Tech or IT professional would enhance the skills and abilities necessary to perform this job.
- Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software applications.
- A quick learner of software and information technology and motivated to learn new applications and business operations.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills, among facility customers and team members.
- Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals, as outlined in UHS corporate standards.
- Self-disciplined, able to work independently, but also able to take direction when necessary.
- Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues, and in advancing personal knowledge.
- Very organized and detail oriented.
- Flexible with time.
License or Registration Requirements: Licensed or licensure eligible and registered with the Commission of Dietetic Registration preferred.
Travel Requirements: 5 – 25% domestic US travel (depending on projects and Go Lives).
Continuing Education:
- Keeps current on relevant Dietary System Versions and release notes.
- Keeps abreast on relevant Regulatory Requirements that impact the Dietary System such as JCAHO, FDA, and various State Regulations.
- Actively participates in increasing education of the Dietary Systems functionality through Webinars, User Group meetings, List Serve, etc.
- Enrolls in classes specific to project management and development
Responsibilities:
System Maintenance and Support:
- Demonstrates understanding of workflow.
- Demonstrates analytical problem solving. Assists in performing routine system maintenance and builds.
- Establishes and maintains regular communications with application team and user community.
- Provides on-call support as scheduled
- Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.
- Researches and resolves Customer Support Center Tickets.
System Implementation:
- Supports the implementations of applications and prepares the appropriate documentation.
- Regularly meet with users, vendors, and IS staff to develop/modify system specifications.
- Performs system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.
- Researches and resolves implementation-related Customer Support Center Tickets.
- Adheres to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.
- Ensures strict adherence to work plans, reporting all serious deviations to management.
- Assists with the training of users in operating procedures for application.
Administration and Oversight:
- Maintains Service Excellence principles.
- Prepares and submits status reports to supervisor as required.
- Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems.
- Performs other tasks as required by management.
Continuing Education:
