Lippes Mathias is looking for an attorney who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Our close-knit group values collegiality, sharing, and teamwork. Qualified candidates must share these values and be eager to establish a long-term career as a health law attorney with us.
We seek candidates with a strong interest in health law issues and trends. Our health care team assists with structuring and negotiating transactions, offers strategic advice on regulatory and compliance issues, implements various contractual arrangements, and counsels clients on a wide range of legal matters affecting the health care industry. Candidates should have a background in corporate transactions, preferably involving provider health care organizations.
Key Qualifications:
- At least 2-5 years of experience in corporate law (particularly mergers and acquisitions), healthcare law and/or regulatory legal compliance
- Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse laws, and/or HIPAA is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and work effectively within a team.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Admission to the New York State bar.
- Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.
Salary range DOE: $95,000-$125,000/year
The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for. Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
