Lippes Mathias is seeking an attorney with 4-8+ years of corporate transactional experience to join its rapidly growing Private Equity / Mergers & Acquisitions practice group.
Our Private Equity / Mergers & Acquisitions team has established a reputation as one of the country’s premier law firm practices focused on the lower middle market, where we advise clients (including private equity firms and independent sponsors) on sophisticated transactions. Our team works closely with our clients to deliver business-oriented, risk-adjusted legal advice to help them accomplish their goals and get deals closed.
The candidate selected for this position will become a key team member and will work directly with clients which include leading middle-market private equity firms, independent sponsors, private companies, family offices, and other investment groups. A successful candidate can anticipate a collegial, team-oriented environment that provides the necessary training and guidance to develop and grow his or her professional skillset. The candidate must have experience on private company M&A, including drafting / negotiating purchase agreements and acting as the “second chair” on a deal (ie, can run key aspects of a deal under the supervision of a partner).
Salary range DOE: $110,000 - $140,000/year
The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for. Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
