Responsibilities
Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or inside private legal matters
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations and offer appropriate legal advice
Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, patent applications, and contracts
Regularly communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case
Advocate for clients in court by presenting supportive evidence
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of legal problems
Requirements
A Juris Doctor degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association
Must hold a current and valid California license
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a law firm or relevant legal role
Proficiency with legal research tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
High degree of professional ethics and integrity
