Boeing Poland Software Engineering develops and produces avionics and electronics systems designed for use on aircraft and other platforms for purposes such as navigation, flight controls, information systems, and other core avionics functions. We have set our sights high – to design, develop, and manufacture the most technically advanced and reliable avionic components in the world. We are innovating and developing new products to address the future of the urban air mobility as well as our next generation of commercial, tactical, and trainer aircraft markets. As a Software Integration and Certification Engineer you will join the Software Engineering team consisting of highly skilled, high performing engineering team members supporting multiple product lines across Boeing organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or higher degree in Computer Science or related field of study
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Good command of English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness to learn and work with new technologies
  • Experience within Electronic Systems hardware and/or software design
  • Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program
  • Highly desired are engineers with recent experience finding or showing compliance for software in an aerospace environment.
  • Thorough understanding of the relationship between software aspects of certification, system development assurance (e.g. ARP 4754A),
  • Familiarity with the RTCA DO178C standard,
  • Ability to analyze problems and adjust the solution based on analysis,
  • Collaborating in international and multi-national projects,
  • Demonstrated design and system thinking skills

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, validating, and releasing builds of Loadable Software Airplane Parts (LSAP),
  • Performing related data preparation, systems integration and peer review activities,
  • Experience handling Structured, unstructured and PDI (parameter data item) datasets
  • Gather information from engineering requirements, technical specifications, and other sources to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical publications.
  • Manage part demand and releases (schedule and part quantities) from airplane programs,
  • Support Technical publications software implementation (support to software testing, Business rules creation/update, software guidelines)
  • Demonstrating solid communication and problem-solving skills,
  • Collaborating proactively with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports to understand operational and performance expectations,
  • Cultivating positive staff culture and team motivation
