As a result of continued growth, we are now looking to find a Associate Business Development Manager to continue driving business development in the Nordic market. Together with the Nordic team, you will play a vital role in fully establishing Tink as the number-one player in Nordic.
You will be positioned as an expert in open banking and the transformation that the financial industry is going through. As a crucial member of Tink’s Business Development Team, you will help design and execute the team’s sales and growth strategy.
This role includes managing current customer relationships as well as creating and closing new sales opportunities. You will be responsible for account development, deal lifecycle management, and driving cross-organizational alignment. The role is designed to be a stepping stone into bigger opportunities and roles within Tink, and we’re looking for someone hungry, with a great recent track record, who wants to have an impact on our business.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years of sales experience, with a track record of overachieving quota
  • Ability to manage client contacts on the senior level
  • Experience in managing contract negotiations
  • Experience working in ambiguous, quickly scaling environments
  • Preferably a degree in Business Administration/Finance, Engineering or similar
  • Preferably background at a SaaS/tech company or in payment/fintech
  • Strong people skills and ability to adapt to different stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills, fluent in English and one Nordic language
  • You should be eligible to work in Sweden
    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Build our customer portfolio by driving sales activities in the Nordics
  • Drive revenue growth and generate new sales, upselling and cross-selling with our existing customers
  • Build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading PSPs, Platforms & merchants
  • Identify our key customers’ business models and target opportunities for innovation – to deliver an outstanding product tailored to their needs
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders to develop valuable, strategic relationships
  • Plan and drive the sales process from initial contact all the way to contract signatur
