POSITION OVERVIEW:
StepStone Private Debt is looking for a detailed-oriented individual who will directly support the Private Debt Business Development and marketing activities. The individual will interact and collaborate with senior professionals across various teams including research and investment, legal and compliance, monitoring and reporting, sales, among others, to present private debt’s service offerings and investment products to institutional investors and help fulfill client requests.
The person should have a solid understanding of investments and private markets, strong client servicing and writing skills. Understanding of business development and capital raising processes is also desired.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Min. Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in business administration, marketing, or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, Word and other Microsoft office programs
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German is a must
- Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
- Follow up skills and acute attention to accuracy and detail are essential
