You will be an important part of our diversely talented, highly experienced team and work at the forefront of high-profile transactions. QUALIFICATIONS OF THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Undergraduate degree and preferrable MBA.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Corporate & Investment banking, M&A, capital raise, structured financing, corporate development, financial analysis, etc.
- Strong financial modelling skills (i.e., 3-statement model, DCF, CCA, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and ability to speak to C suites executives.
- Strong writing skills and ability to create reports as per relevant transaction.
- Working knowledge of the Canadian and International Finance and Accounting concepts and understanding of key business drivers, principally as they relate to debt capital advisory transactions.
- Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability and experience working in a team environment.
- A passion for working with entrepreneurs and private business owners and management teams.
- This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role.
The successful candidate for this position will have strong French and English written and verbal communication/presentation skills, superior analytical skills, demonstrated project and/or people management skills and have been recognized for their “roll up the sleeves” attitude and high levels of creative energy and enthusiasm.
