QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of procurement / sourcing experience, ex: consulting, purchasing / buyer, and/or analyst experience.
• Ability to assess vendors and demonstrated negotiating skills.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions and strong conflict resolution skills.
• Professional communication; both verbal and written are required.
  Compensation: $70,000- $90,000
  Disclaimer: This “range” could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed, education, experience, travel requirements for the job, or because of a system the employer uses to measure earnings by quantity or quality of production (so, for example, positions that may not have traditional salary ranges). Our prosperous commission plans grow over time with a successful employee’s growing pipeline. Some sales professionals may eventually move to 100% commission.

• Collaboration: Identify, engage and align with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, quality or other business partners) to capture category requirements and ensure supplier qualification and quality;
• Partner with business unit Procurement teams to efficiently transition suppliers as needed; Support region/sector New Product Development (NPD) Procurement teams through preferred supplier programs.
• Negotiations: Support negotiations and supplier selection; accountable for contract lifecycle management and compliance.
• Cost Management: Responsible for delivering category productivity through price, value analysis (VA) or continuous improvement projects.
• Supplier Management: Support supplier segmentation, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and quarterly supplier reviews for all strategic suppliers within category; Ensure creation of supplier profiles for all SRM suppliers.
• Risk Management: Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance.
