Associate Charterer

Are you a self-motivated team member and do you enjoy working on several tasks at the same time? Would you like to develop within chartering? If so, we would be excited to hear from you, as we are looking to hire an Associate Charterer to join Maersk Tankers’ committed chartering team in Singapore

You’ll support and collaborate with key departments across segments, and your main function will be to assist the Chartering desk with daily tasks such as

• Tracking and analyzing product flows, fixtures and vessel activities
• Identifying and concluding new business opportunities
• Calculating spot voyage budgets to prepare offers
• Reviewing terms and charter parties
• Coordinating vessel clearance requirements between captains and customers
• Coordinating voyage requirements with operations
• Claims chasing

Your main mission will be to ensure significant earnings for our pool partners through commercial knowledge and strategy execution. You will be working closely with colleagues across Chartering teams and Operations and collaborate across Commercial departments globally to ensure continuous improvement of services.
