QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience, ideally in consulting, accounting, a corporate graduate scheme, or a high-growth environment.
- Skills: Strong organisational skills with a focus on corporate governance, KPI tracking, and project management. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, able to influence senior stakeholders and drive initiatives.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and other widely used business systems.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, showing resilience and flexibility in managing changing priorities.
- Personal Attributes: A proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships.
- Education: A degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
This is a rare opportunity for a motivated professional to work closely with Gravita’s entrepreneurial CEO, gaining exposure to a variety of aspects of the business. The role involves managing administrative tasks, supporting corporate governance, and handling strategic projects, offering significant career growth opportunities.
This 12-month role provides an excellent stepping-stone for professionals looking to pivot into entrepreneurship, private equity, or business leadership, with the chance to work closely with Gravita’s senior team and drive strategic growth. It may be ideal for someone transitioning from consulting or a corporate background and looking to gain experience in a dynamic scale-up environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diary & Travel Management: Manage the CEO’s schedule, coordinate travel logistics, and ensure effective time management.
- Strategic & Administrative Support: Prepare materials for leadership meetings, assist with board documentation, and handle some communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Corporate Governance & KPI Tracking: Oversee governance tasks, including preparing board packs, tracking KPIs, and supporting governance processes.
- M&A and PE Exposure: Gain valuable experience in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity engagements by managing related projects and contributing to strategic initiatives.
- Special Projects: Take responsibility for special initiatives as directed by the CEO, contributing to business growth and organisational scaling.
