Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional, creative and dynamic leader with a proven track record of clinical services delivery and innovation. This is an exciting time for Hywel Dda UHB with the development and implementation of the Transforming Clinical Services Strategy that will change the way we deliver our services. Pharmacy is an expanding profession with new developments and many opportunities arising, including stronger relationships with local universities to bring research into practice.
The successful candidate will support the Clinical Director of Pharmacy and Medicines Management to provide strategic, clinical and professional leadership for the development of pharmacy services across Hywel Dda University Health Board. They will work in close collaboration with senior leaders to deliver the vision for pharmacy services across the sectors, developing and delivering innovative, high quality services to improve patient care.
They will be responsible for developing a confident and flexible workforce working seamlessly across the Health Board in partnership with the team and wider professions.

COMMUNITY FACILITIES, INCLUDING:

48 General Practices (GP surgeries), 49 Dental Practices, 98 Community Pharmacies (chemists), 44 General Ophthalmic Practices (including eye health and low vision services), 38 sites providing mental health and learning disability services, care within your own homes
Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
