Applied Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an Associate Consultant to join our Solution Services team. As an Associate Consultant, you will work directly with clients to implement and configure Applied Epic and Applied’s Extended Solutions. In this role, you will work independently with clients to deliver a positive customer experience. You will have the opportunity to cultivate, maintain, and grow relationships with new and existing customers to promote and drive user adoption of our products. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to internal projects and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals that align with Applied’s Values in Action. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong knowledge of operating principles.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work in a Hybrid work environment from our Chicago, IL office (approximately 2-3 days per week)

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • Experience in Operational Consulting
  • Experience with large scale software implementation
  • Worked with Applied Epic

    • May also consider candidates with strong competitor product expertise
  • Demonstrated communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and can handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Business Management, Computer Sciences or related disciplines

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with making configuration decisions as well as managing associated workflows related to the operational side of the business.
  • Work with customers to gather requirements, assess needs, and provide guidance on best practices and workflows to meet business needs.
  • Provide timely communication with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality implementations.
  • Partner with project leadership and other team members to ensure completion of all deliverables across the project.
  • Form strong and productive working relationships with customers, managing to keep customers on track toward achieving mutual goals.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Applied Epic and Applied Extended Solutions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, tasks completed, project status, and action items.
  • Manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of company products, usage, features, etc.
  • Travel up to 65-75% of the time with a valid passport to collaborate with our customers
