Overview
Corporate Actions - S5Serves as a team supervisor/manager for the day-to-day operations of a small to medium-sized corporate actions team. Manages the day-to-day activities and initiatives of the team. Develops and schedules appropriate level of staff. Supports and completes client inquiries and requests. Often assists others with more complex and unprecedented requests.Directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.Provides support to business and technology managers. Handles client inquiries and requests.Monitors account work flows and processing issues to identify systematic patterns which may require adjustment to policies and procedures. Provides support, consulting and problem resolution activities.Participates in the recruiting process. Instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of corporate actions analysts. Prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback to staff.Supervises a small to medium-sized corporate actions team. May be responsible for specific supervisory review and approval actions.Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. Supports the achievement of team objectives.High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelors degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in financial services processing and corporate actions preferred.
