Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing financial statements of corporate borrowers to provide advice on their financial standing, identification of key credit risks (and their mitigation)
  • Where necessary conducting research on industry trends and statistics for benchmarking against peers, enhancing the financial analysis value undertaken on the borrower.
  • Conducting annual/interim reviews.
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts and sensitivity analysis to establish the debt repayment capacity.
  • Supporting the Credit Analysis Unit, managing work-flow effectively to ensure that all work done onshore and offshore is delivered within agreed timeframes and meets the required quality standard

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid understanding of credit issues with the ability to interpret varying degrees of complexity and numerical analysis, while also keeping abreast of industry developments.
  • Corporate lending experience with excellent credit and financial analytical skills in a similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a broad range of audiences.
  • Self-motivation and proactivity to be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, while working with a medium to high volume of clients.
  • A strong team focus with excellent interpersonal skills
