As a Data Analyst at ReliaQuest, you will be on the front line of building systems and deriving insight that drives RQ and our customers’ businesses forward. You will make a tangible difference in the understanding and practice of cybersecurity, visibility into threats and customer systems, and the fast-paced innovation of RQ.
You will work on a collaborative, high-performing team to provide data-driven business decisions. Business as usual is not something you’ll see here, and we maintain a culture of innovation. You will build a strong skillset in some of our most used tools: Snowflake, Power BI, dbt, GitLab, Python, and SQL. You’ll put these tools to good use in developing analytics, designing and delivering information that excels in good storytelling, and generating impactful information for customers and your RQ colleagues.

The everyday hustle:

  • Developing data analyses and methodologies that provide visibility and insight into both ReliaQuest and customer operations
  • Contributing to innovative projects that include a variety of advanced qualitative and quantitative analytic assignments
  • Being an expert into ReliaQuest operations and how to effectively measure them
  • Providing relevant data-related reports and insights to customers, partners, executives, and ReliaQuest colleagues
  • Designing publications that are intuitive to understand and provide targeted information
  • Creating systems and tools for effective data management, visualization and interpretation (systems design, dashboards, information graphics, Power BI, etc.)
  • Identifying opportunities to drive growth and supporting implementation of continuous improvement processes
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in analytics to continuously advance our capabilities

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration and Management, Business Analytics and Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics or a similar degree
  • Experience with tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Python, R, SQL Server, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana etc.
  • Excellent visual design skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including an ability to communicate with internal and external cross functional teams (technical and business)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great attitude, energy and effort

What makes you uncommon?

  • Graduate degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration and Management, Business Analytics and Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics or a similar degree
  • Prior experience working in advanced data analytics, data systems and/or cybersecurity analysis
  • Goes above and beyond and continuously learns new skills
