Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant, you will learn and experience how we apply technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery using consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs, you will be client-focused, courageous, pragmatic, and technical to optimize and trailblaze new solutions that address real business challenges.

- Developing Solutions to Reach True Business Value: Understanding clients’ main challenges and developing solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration and product support with a sense of urgency.
- Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing agile plans where you are responsible for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations.
- Self-Motivated Problem Solving: Demonstrating a natural bias towards self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills as you work across the client, partner, and IBM team.
Good solution design, implementation, testing and support skills
- Familiar with Requirements Analysis, Design, Implementation, Validation/Testing, Go-live, Post go-live assistance
- Familiar with Agile delivery practices and tools
- Able to work independently as an SME, or under the guidance of Architect/Lead or IBM SME if assigned
- Perform Install and Config, Environment setup, apply ifixes and patches
- Engage Product Support/Engineering for raising and resolving product issues
- Optional: Experience with Upgrades and Migrations, Solution Assessments, Health Checks, Onboarding, Performance Testing and Tuning, Capacity Planning, Training etc
Strong Technology Expertise
- Programming: Java, XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, JavaScript, Python
- Operating Systems: Linux/RHEL, Unix, Windows & Scripting. Optional: z/OS
- Databases: DB2, SQL Server, Oracle
- Familiarity with Cloud deployments: AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI/IBM Cloud + Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Optional: Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
- Familiarity with: DevOps and CI/CD
- Optional: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Microservices, Design Thinking
- Optional: Open source frameworks/technologies: Cassandra, Kafka, MongoDB, Node.js, Spring Boot etc

Good communication skills - being proactive about weekly status, update on issues or defects or any communication or documentation that is required
Prepare and provide client presentations including demos as per project requirement
