- Degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) in information technology, computer or natural science, engineering or equivalent subject
- Strong programming skills in any common object oriented programming language
- Familiar with common tools for agile project planning and tracking, source code control and continuous integration such as JIRA
- Experience with ASE techniques, test-driven development, unit tests, continuous integration & delivery, committer/contributor model and pair programming, …
- High commitment to quality, reliability, and a self-motivating style of working
- Excellent analytical and communication skills and willingness to continuously learn
- High interest in business processes and willingness to build up domain knowledge over the time
- Fluent German and English language skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities:
We are looking for passionate associate developer to work on our innovative global project contributing to our flagship S/4HANA Public Cloud. You will work in one of the engineering scrum teams responsible for the Public Cloud solution International Trade, gaining valuable insights into the solution while engaging directly with our growing customer base. With this you are directly involved in the newest products, which SAP plans to bring to market, using the latest technology such as AI, in-memory computing, cloud-based applications, and advanced user interfaces.
You will be involved in the full software development cycle, from discussing requirements with our stakeholders, over design, implementation, quality assurance, security, customer support to bug fixing. Additionally, you will work closely with experts to build domain knowledge and technical skills.
Depending on your level of experience you will contribute to backlogs around the application development or architecture topics. Your willingness to collaborate with customers, end-users and other development teams is a strong need to bring this solution forward.
You need to be comfortable to work in an agile environment, bringing in your competencies as a team player, establishing standards in our team, sharing your knowledge, motivating other team members, building consensus, while being open to new ideas and approaches at the same time.
