Reporting to the Manager, Digital Platforms, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of OMERS websites, and the development and implementation of comprehensive multi-channel strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of Content Management Systems, analytics, SEO, and multi-channel tactics to optimize performance and drive brand growth. An ideal candidate for this role would possess a robust blend of technical SEO expertise , data analysis proficiency , strategic insight, and project management skills, coupled with a keen understanding of market trends and digital platform management.
Responsibilities:
AS A MEMBER OF THIS TEAM, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Maintain and update OMERS websites through our content management system (CMS), ensuring websites are up-to-date, accurate , and aligned to best practices.
Develop and implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to increase organic search visibility and ranking.
Implement on-page and off-page SEO tactics including keyword research, content optimization, link building, technical SEO, etc.
Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for multiple channels.
Utilize data analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders, using data analysis and automation techniques .
Drive improvement in data reliability and quality through effective platform management.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, benchmark performance, and inform strategy adjustments.
Support the execution of multi-channel strategies across various platforms, analyzing campaign performance data to understand the effectiveness of strategies and tactics.
Balance a variety of ongoing projects at a time and provide regular status updates to manager.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU HAVE:
3+ years of experience in related role.
Experience with web technologies and content management systems (CMS). Previous experience with Contentful CMS would be an asset.
Strong understanding of SEO and data analytic tools. Experience with Site Improve would be considered an asset.
PowerBI experience an asset.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Self-starter who works both independently and with a team, while fostering a collegial and creative team culture.
