Description:
Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our finance team as the Associate Director - Account Payable. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the financial health of our projects, enabling us to deliver exceptional entertainment experiences in Saudi Arabia.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, with at least 8 years in a leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, principles, and best practices.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s financial regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, verification, approval, and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to accounts payable.
- Supervise a team of accounts payable professionals, providing training and guidance to achieve departmental objectives.
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to address any discrepancies or payment issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Collaborate with other finance functions, including treasury, accounting, and purchasing, to support overall financial operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable best practices and policies.
- Lead and manage any accounts payable-related audits and respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes related to accounts payable operations.
