Description:

WHAT THE DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Manage broking initiatives and strategies focusing on supply chain strategy, broking services and centralised broking.
  • Champion all broking-related initiatives and Communicate Broking Strategies, Goals, and Services.
  • Understand, adhere and to pursue the organization’s visions, goals and personal KPIs and directives actively to ensure they are met.
  • For Supply Chain Strategy – Support Engagement Model for Strategic Carriers for Broking Initiatives and Portfolio Management, facilitate Carrier Working Group Engagement with the active partnership with Client Services, Client Relations and ABS Teams for the areas of involvement, Monitor market movements : existing and new entrants in the market, review, implement and optimize remuneration programs with Carriers.
  • For Centralised broking – Optimize and Launch Existing / New Facilities / SPS, Product Development and Solutions.
  • For Broking Services – Support Vendor Partnerships, Deliver WCB Deliverables to Carriers via broking analytics and survey insights and drive Bursary Strategy and growth.
  • Perceptive to clients’ needs in order to deliver the broking solutions and initiatives that matters.
  • Partner with the Client Service team and Client Relationship teams, collaboratively and to focus on delivering the best business results and initiatives to the clients as one Aon United.
  • Actively seeking out market intelligence to build a robust and credible knowledge-based carrier and/or supply chain management to establish a long term and sustainable growth plans. Leading and Managing the Broking team in Broking Functions.

Broking Function includes and are not limited to:

  • Involved in pre and post renewal discussions with Clients and Account Managers.
  • Renewal management with carriers.
  • TBS utilisation and governance for renewal and placement activities.
  • Conduct RFP, Comparison of quotes and negotiation with carriers.
  • Renewal proposal preparations.
  • Post renewal process functions (Underwriting Requirement Process Management, Policy Delivery and Policy Checks, ER process etc.
  • Strategic engagement, planning and execution with carriers focusing on growth and retention.
  • Ensure strong collaboration between internal collaborators - between Broking, Aon Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Client Facing Teams.
  • Serves as key team member to drive higher operational efficiencies, productivity including, standardisation and strengthening current business processes which are to be supported by Aon India CoE Team.
  • Ensure Deliverables within Aon’s Centre of Excellence in ensuring timely and quality delivery of broking activities..
  • Act as primary contact in broking team for providing specialist advice to clients and Aon Health Solutions colleagues.
  • Finding opportunities for streamlining and improving system and business processes within Broking.
  • Understanding business and broking Strategies and translating them into tactical plans.
  • Lead development, implementation and adoption of strategies wthin the broking team.
  • Accountable for broking team’s adoption and utilisation of broking strategies.
  • Responsible for financial and non-financial critical metric of the broking team to meet organisational goals and needs.
  • Develop Talent and skills within teams to meet needs of the organisation and succession planning.
  • Integrate with other business and functions to drive broader work strategies relating to broking functions and any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the company from time to time.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS

  • Degree or Diploma or equivalent experience from a recognised university or polytechnic
  • Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI. CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS
  • More than 8 years of related experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the overall employee benefits program (standard and custom), all funding mechanisms, broking processes, market segments and marketplaces.
  • Good skills on MS systems including Word, Excel, Power-point required
  • Has a keen sense of responsibility, good communicator with a keen self-awareness, social & emotional intelligence, embraces DE&I collaborative, accountability, flexibility and consistency to lead colleagues across all functions to focus on activities that will lead to business results and growth.
  • Ability to embrace and implement organizational changes
  • Senior stakeholders/ C-suite management skills
  • Align and work to meet the department/ organizational visions and goals
  • Guide others in resolving complex issues based on independent discretion and judgement to determine appropriate solutions and process
